2011-2012 Jean Monnet Scholars Certificate Ceremony

Approximately 100 scholars who returned to Türkiye after completing their educations in Europe’s most prestigious and famous education institutions within the scope of Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme funded by European Union and implemented by Ministry for EU Affairs, received their certificates in a ceremony attended Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış and Head of Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, Ambassador Jean-Maurice Ripert on 28 May 2013.

Deputy Minister for EU Affairs Dr. Alaattin Büyükkaya, 1993-1995 academic year scholar ex- President of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, MP Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Co-Chair of TR-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee, MP Afif Demirkıran, Deputy Undersecretaries Dr. Mehmet Cangir, Dr. F.H. Burak Erdenir and Head of Central Finance and Contracts Unit Muhsin Altun attended 2011-2012 academic year Jean Monnet scholars certificate ceremony as well.

1993-1995 academic year scholar ex-President of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, MP Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has shared his knowledge and experiences with Jean Monnet scholars in the ceremony.

Besides 3 scholars addressed their speeches who benefited from Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme as well.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış gave certificates to scholars after his speech. The ceremony ended with the cake cut.
