Egemen Bağış’s Visit to Saudi Arabia

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış paid a visit to Saudi Arabia on May 24-25 2013. In the first day of his visit in Jeddah, Minister Bağış held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu. After the meeting, Minister Bağış attended the luncheon hosted by Mr. İhsanoğlu in his honour.

Within the scope of his visit on 25 May, Minister Bağış made a speech at the conference titled “The Potential Economic and Commercial Impacts of Türkiye’s EU Membership on Middle East and Islamic Countries” organized by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and attended the luncheon hosted by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce in his honour.
