Egemen Bağış Attended the Dinner Organized for Continuation of TÜRKAK’s International Recognition

Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış participated in the dinner organized on the occasion of the decision by the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA) on the continuation of Turkish Accreditation Agency’s (TÜRKAK) international recognition on May 21, 2013.

Touching upon the wide acclamation of TÜRKAK as a corporate entity, Minister Bağış stated that TÜRKAK is at the same level as European accreditation agencies and even has further strengths compared to them. Minister Bağış also expressed that this is not a corporate success of TÜRKAK but a national achievement of Türkiye. Minister Bağış lastly emphasized that, today TÜRKAK became a source of inspiration in a large geography reaching from Middle East to Balkans.
