Deputy Minister Mr. Alaattin BÜYÜKKAYA Visited Arapgir, District of Malatya

A delegation of the Ministry of European Union Affairs headed by Deputy Minister Dr. Alaattin BÜYÜKKAYA paid a visit to Arapgir, a district of Malatya, on 20th of May 2013 in order to prepare the public and private sector bodies, municipality and NGO’s for the EU accesion process and to inform them about the opportunities within EU funds.

To this end, potential project sites were visisted, a technical meeting with the participation of experts from the local bodies was held to elaborate on the project ideas in detail  and a semiar was organised titled as “EU Funds: Opportunities for Arapgir”.

The opening speeches of the seminar were delivered by Deputy Minister Dr. Alaattin BÜYÜKKAYA, Deputy Undersecretary Mr. Ahmet YÜCEL, the Mayor and the District Governor. The seminar also included presentations of the Ministry of EU Affairs on Türkiye-EU Finacial Cooperation, Grant Programmes and the National Agency activitites.
