Egemen Bağış Attended the Opening Ceremony of TEDxIhlasCollegeED Conference

The Minister for the EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış attended the opening ceremony of the Conference of the TEDxIhlasCollegeED organized by the Ihlas Education Institutions with the theme of “I Have a Dream”. Bağış, speaking at the Conference, said that the meeting can be held in many other places of the world but the choice of Istanbul was a message, because the city gave very different messages to the world about education and fraternity. Bağış also mentioned that giving importance to education was not a matter of choice but should be seen as a must. He emphasized the potential of the youth in Türkiye and concluded his talk saying that if we want to have a say in the world, we need to consider education as very important.
