Fifth Regional Seminar of “Turkish Local Media On The EU Path” Project in Kayseri

The fifth regional seminar of the “Turkish Local Media On The EU Path” Project takes place in Kayseri between April 17-18, 2013. Opening speeches of the seminar were delivered by Sanem Onay, Head of the Department of Press and Public Relations of the British Embassy to Ankara, Ahmet Yücel, Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs and Şerif Yılmaz, Governor of Kayseri.

In his speech, Deputy Undersecretary of Minister for EU Affairs, Ahmet Yücel pointed out the importance of local media through Türkiye’s accession process to the EU.

The seminar, organized with the participation of the local media representatives from the cities of Adana, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Kilis, Malatya, Mersin, Nevşehir, Niğde, Osmaniye, Sivas, Tunceli and Yozgat, will last for two days. Within the scope of the seminar, attendees are provided information to follow Türkiye's EU accession process more consciously and closely.
