Egemen Bağış’s Visit to Luxembourg

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış paid an official visit to Luxembourg on April, 11 2013. Egemen Bağış met with Deputy Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Luxemboug Jean Asselborn. After the meeting, Egemen Bağış and Jean Asselborn held a joint press conference. In his speech Egemen Bağış stated that EU needs Türkiye to overcome economic stagnation. Jean Asselborn expressed that Luxembourg is the one of the EU stated that support Türkiye’s EU accession and visa liberalization.

Within the concept of his contacts, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış met with President of the Chamber Laurent Mosar. After the meeting, Minister Bağış met with Minister of Finance of Luxembourg Luc Frieden.

Egemen Bağış’s Luxembourg visit was completed with a meeting held with Minister for Economics and Foreign Trade Etienne Schneider.
