Info Day for the Bulgaria – Türkiye IPA Cross-border Programme

For the potential beneficiaries who are considering to submit project proposals under the third call for proposals that was published on 11 February 2013 for the Bulgaria – Türkiye IPA Cross-border Programme an info day event was staged on 29 March 2013 in Kırklareli. Following the openning address by Mr. M. Süreyya Süner, Director of Financial Cooperation, Mr. Ivan Delchev, Head of JTS and Mr. Günay Öztürk, Deputy Governor the participants those in pursuit of lodging projects have been provided with formation as to the Programme rules and project preparation procedures.

Recently a similar info day activity was  realized in Edirne on 14 March 2013, together with a partnership forum which was organized in order to help the potential beneficiaries in matching with potential partners.

In addition to the said activity, a special session was dedicated to EU's other funding opportunities for Kırklareli within which, in depth and lenghty presentations were made by Mr. Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Director of Research and Documentation, Mr. Bülent Özcan, Director of Project Implementation of the Ministry for EU Affairs and Mr. Ali Yurtsever, Coordinator of the Turkish National Agency. In this special session the conclusion was drawn that Kırklareli is in need of further information and encouragement for the funding possibilities other than the Cross Border Cooperation facility.
