Mr. Egemen Bağış Came Together with the Representatives of Turkish Private Sector During the “Round Table Meeting and Business Lunch” Organized by the “Climate Platform”

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen Bağış came together with the representatives of Turkish private sector during the “Round Table Meeting and Business Lunch” organized by the “Climate Platform” in İstanbul on 27 March 2013. Deputy Minister for EU Affairs Dr. Alaattin BÜYÜKKAYA and Deputy Undersecretary Dr. Fatih HASDEMİR have attended the organization. Ms. Sandrine Dixon-Decleve, Director of The Prince of Wales's EU Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, and the members of the “Leaders Group on Climate Change” have also participated in the event hosted by Regional Environmental Center (REC) Türkiye Country Office. “Leaders Group on Climate Change” in Türkiye whose current spokeperson is Mr. Levent ÇAKIROĞLU, the CEO of Arçelik, is composed of senior executives from private sector companies participating in the Climate Platform which was originally established to support Türkiye’s transition to a low carbon economy and her efforts to tackle climate change.
