Fourth Regional Seminar of “Turkish Local Media On The EU Path” Project in Karabük

The fourth regional seminar of the “Turkish Local Media On The EU Path” Project takes place in Karabük between March 6-7, 2013. Opening speeches of the seminar were delivered by Peter Spoor, Undersecretary of the British Embassy to Ankara, Dr. Fatih Hasdemir, Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs and İzzettin Küçük, Governor of Karabük.

In his speech, Deputy Undersecretary of Minister for EU Affairs, Dr. Fatih Hasdemir pointed out the importance of local media through Türkiye’s accession process to the EU.

The seminar, organized with the participation of the local media representatives from the cities of Amasya, Bartın, Bolu, Çankırı, Çorum, Düzce, Kastamonu, Karabük, Samsun, Sinop, Tokat and Zonguldak, will last for two days. Within the scope of the seminar, attendees are provided information to follow Türkiye's EU accession process more consciously and closely.
