Sectoral Approach of the New IPA Period is introduced

Within the context of the preparatory studies concerning the second period of the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) covering 2014-2020, a meeting was held on 5^th of March 2013 with the participation of beneficiary and other relevant institutions under the co-chairmanship of Mr. Ahmet Yücel, Deputy Undersecretary, Ministry for EU Affairs and Ms. Alexandra Cas Granje, Director of Türkiye, General Directorate for Enlargement, European Commission for introducing the sectoral approach that will be the essential element of the new period of IPA.

The representatives of the consultants of the European Commission made presentations and exchange of views on sectoral approach and the new IPA period took place during the meeting.
