Egemen Bağış’s Official Visit to France
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış and his accompanying delegation paid an official visit to Paris, France. On the first day of his visit, Minister Bağış met with French Minister for EU Affairs Bernard Cazeneuve for a working breakfast. In the meeting, the steps that could be taken for the revitalization of Türkiye's EU accession negotiations were discussed.
Within the framework of his official contact, Minister Egemen Bağış met with President Hollande’s Diplomatic Counselor Paul-Jean Ortiz and EU Affairs Counselor Philippe Léglise-Costa.
Minister Bağış continued his first day contacts with a meeting with Minister for Interior Manuel Valls. In the meeting, French counter-terrorism operations against the PKK and investigation of assassination of three women in Paris were dealed.
Minister Bağış met with Richard Prasquier , the President of the representative council of Jewish organisations in France (CRIF) at the hotel he stayed.
