Third Regional Seminar of “Turkish Local Media On The EU Path” Project in Isparta

The third regional seminar of the “Turkish Local Media On The EU Path” Project takes place in Isparta between February 13-14, 2013. Opening speeches of the seminar were delivered by Louise Taylor, EU Political Officer, British Embassy, Dr. Fatih Hasdemir,  Deputy Undersecretary of Minister for EU Affairs and Memduh Oğuz, Governor of Balıkesir.

In his speech,  Deputy Undersecretary of Minister for EU Affairs, Dr. Fatih Hasdemir pointed out the importance of local media through Türkiye’s accesion process to the EU.

The seminar, organized with the participation of the local media representatives from the cities of Isparta, Aksaray, Antalya, Aydın, Burdur, Denizli, Karaman, Konya and Muğla, will last for two days. Within the scope of the seminar, attendees are provided information to follow Türkiye's EU accession process more consciously and closely.
