Egemen Bağış Accompanied Prime Minister Erdoğan during the Official Visit to Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia

Prime Minister Erdoğan’s official visit to the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia started on February 3. Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis was also a member of the delegation which accompanied Prime Minister Erdoğan. On the first two days of the visit, Prime Minister Erdoğan and his accompanying delegation met with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Neças at an inter-committee meeting. Prime Minister Erdoğan and his accompanying delegation completed their official visit to Czech Republic with attending the business forum between Türkiye and the Czech Republic.

Prime Minister Erdoğan and his accompanying delegation’s three-day official visit to three central European Countries continued with meetings in Hungary. In the framework of his official visit to Hungary, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed businessmen at Turkish-Hungarian Business Forum. After the forum, Prime Minister met with Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban and attended a lunch given in his honour by his counterpart.  Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış was also present at the forum and lunch.

At the last day of the official visit, Prime Minister Erdoğan met with the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico. After the meeting the Prime Ministers made comments on Türkiye-EU relations at a joint press conference. In Slovakia, Prime Minister Erdoğan and his accompanying delegation came together with the President of the Slovak Republic Ivan Gasparoviç
