Deputy Undersecretary Dr. F. H. Burak Erdenir Hosted the Tunisian Delegation

Dr. F. H. Burak Erdenir, the Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs hosted the Delegation consisted of officials from Tunisian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation. Mr. Erdenir informed the representatives on Türkiye’s accession process and exchanged views regarding the recent developments in Tunisian domestic politics and Tunisia-EU relations.

The visit of Tunisian Delegation coordinated by our Ministry aims at sharing Turkish experience in EU accession process. In this context, the Delegation will also pay visit other public institutions in Türkiye.

In the first day of three-day program, the delegation was informed by officials of our Ministry on “Türkiye-EU Negotiation Process”, “Financial Cooperation”, “Regional Development and Social Cohesion” and “Cooperation with the Civil Society”.

The Tunisian Delegation will also visit Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Development, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Ankara Development Agency on January 29-30, 2013 in order to get information about different components of Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and observe the applications in practice.
