Egemen Bağış's Visit to İreland

Minister for EU Affairs and ChiefNegotiator Egemen Bağış and his accompanying delegation paid an official visit to Dublin.

After attending working breakfast organized by European People’s Party, Minister Bağış has participated in Informal Meeting of Ministers and State Secretaries for European Affairs.

Then, Egemen Bağış met with the team who will take part in “İstanbul Conversations in Dublin” activity. In his speech at the meeting, Egemen Bağış stated that candidate countries contributed to the discussions of Strengthening Democratic Legitimacy and Accountability as much as member countries.  Moreover, Bağış  stated that joining a conversation over Istanbul at Dublin is meaningful for him and he underlined the significance of İstanbul since it is the most important showcase and the most important richness of Türkiye.
