Civil Society Dialogue Partner Search & Matchmaking Tool

The Ministry for EU Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye has developed "Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Türkiye” project with the aim of promoting the social and cultural dialogue between the EU and Türkiye through CSOs in the accession process. Strengthening cooperation and exchange of experiences between EU and Turkish civil societies, “Civil Society Dialogue-I” and “Civil Society Dialogue-II” projects were implemented in various thematic fields in 2008-2009 and 2010-2012 years respectively. As a continuation of these programmes, "Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Türkiye – III” grant scheme will be implemented in 2013.

Under "Civil Society Dialogue - III” programme, a total of 9 Million Euros will be granted to projects developed in the areas of Media and Political Criteria. The Call for Proposals of the grant schemes are scheduled to be announced at the beginning of 2013.

As a requirement of the nature of the civil society dialogue, partnership between CSOs in Türkiye and the EU Member States is a must for a grant project to be funded under the two components. In order to facilitate the process of finding partners for potential beneficiaries, an online “Partner Search and Matchmaking Tool” has been developed by the Ministry for EU Affairs. Through the tool, civil society and media organizations will have the opportunity to involve in existing project proposals or find partners for their own project ideas.
