Civil Society Dialogue Between the EU and Türkiye

CIVIL SOCIETY DIALOGUE PROGRAMME

Civil Society Dialogue is a programme bringing together civil society organisations from Türkiye and the EU around common topics, to exchange knowledge and experience, and to build a sustained conversation between the organisations.

The Programme is co-financed by the European Union and Republic of Türkiye under Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA). The Ministry for European Union Affairs is the responsible institution for the technical implementation of the programme, while the Central Finance and Contracts Unit is the Contracting Authority of the Programme.

Calls  for  proposals for the new phase of the Civil Society Dialogue Programme were announced in 2015 and application period for the grant schemes has finalised by June 2015. In this new phase of the Programme, which forms the fourth stage, a total of 11 million Euro grant will be given to projects developed under the nine main EU policies. These will include environment; energy; consumer and health protection; justice, freedom and security; right of establishment and freedom to provide services; regional policy and coordination of structural instruments; enterprise and industrial policy; agriculture and fisheries; and education.

Projects under these areas will be receiving a maximum grant of 150.000 Euros. Civil society organisations from Europe and Türkiye joined up, designed and developed their projects and applied to these funds. The evaluation of the projects will be finalised by the end of 2015 and the award winning projects are planned to start in January 2016.
