Egemen Bağış participated in the 12th General Assembly of the Association of the European Heating Industry

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış participated in the 12th General Assembly of the Association of the European Heating Industry in Istanbul and delivered a speech. In his speech, Bağış criticized European Union's strict visa requirements on Turkish nationals as unfair. Bağış also touched on the importance of Türkiye’s role for energy supply due to its geographical position and the nature of its neighboring countries as they have abundant energy resources. Lastly, Bağış  expressed that Türkiye is a member of all European organizations except the EU.
