69th Meeting of the EU-Türkiye Joint Parliamentary Committee is held in Strasbourg

69th Meeting of the EU-Türkiye Joint Parliamentary Committee is held in Strasbourg on June 13-14, 2012. Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış honored in the opening session themed “Türkiye-EU Relations: The State of Play in the Accession Negotiations”. Under-Secretary for European Affairs at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Ambassador Kim Jorgensen and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle also attended the mentioned session.

“The Role of Women in Society” will be discussed at the second session of meeting with the participation of Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Şahin and Member of the European Parliament Emine Bozkurt on June 24, 2012. 69th Meeting of the EU-Türkiye Joint Parliamentary Committee will be concluded with the presentation of Special Adviser of the Secretary-General on Cyprus Alexander Downer on “Negotiations in Cyprus”.
