Egemen Bağış Attended the Introductory Meeting of the “Champions Are Discovered in Childhood” Project

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış attended the introductory meeting of the “Champions Are Discovered in Childhood” Project of the Pendik Municipality. Making a speech, Minister Bağış expressed his belief in the merits of the project in terms of contributing to the raising of good sportsmen as well as good people. Commenting on Istanbul’s candidacy for Euro 2020 and 2020 Olympic Games, Bağış stated that it would be the organizers of these meetings that would be deprived in case Istanbul does not host these organizations, not Istanbul.
