Egemen Bağış Participated in the Opening Ceremony of ANKOMAK 2012
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış participated in the opening ceremony of ANKOMAK 2012 19th International Construction Machinery, Building Elements and Construction Technologies Exhibition held in CNR Expo and delivered a speech. In his speech Bağış underlined that Türkiye is currently the sixth largest economy in Europe, but according to the projections made by OECD, she will be the second biggest by 2050. Concerning the World Economic Forum on the Middle East, North Africa and Eurasia 2012 held in Istanbul, Bağış underlined that although World Economic Forum only holds regional summits outside Davos, for the first time in history they have chosen to organize an international meeting outside of Davos in İstanbul, which brought five continents together.
