Egemen Bağış’s Visit to Brussels
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış and his accompanying committee paid an official visit to Brussels on May 22, 2012. Within the concept of his contacts in Brussels, Egemen Bağış met with Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders. After the meeting, Egemen Bağış and Didier Reynders responded journalists’ questions.
Egemen Bağış continiued his contacts with President of the Belgian Senate Sabine de Bethune and President of the House of Representatives André Flahaut.
At the second day of his visit, Bağış respectively received the Mayor of the Municipality of Başakşehir, Mevlüt Uysal and Levent Sürer President Federation of European Circassians “EuroXase” in his Office in Brussels. Bağış also made a visit to newly opened Sandžak Office in Brussels. Lastly, Bağış received some of the Belgium-Türkiye inter-parliamentary friendship group members in his Office in Brussels and concluded his visit.
