Jean Monnet Scholars’ Study Visit to Brussel

Within the framework of Türkiye's negotiation process for full membership to the EU, Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, aims to support Türkiye's administrative capacity building efforts for the effective implementation of the EU acquis, a study visit to Brussels for the scholars of 2011-2012 academic year has been organised.

In the study visit, which 2011-2012 academic year scholars and authorities from the Ministry for EU Affairs participated, it is aimed to follow the change, improvements and contemporary developments in the EU and also to tell the developments in Türkiye to the European counterparts.

 The study visit under the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, has started with the  opening speeches in the Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the European Union. Than the representatives of IKV, TUSKON, TURBO and TUSIAD informed the scholars about their activities.

 On the second day, the scholars visited European Commission DG Enlargement, DG Education and Culture, Traineeships Office and European Parliament.
