Preparatory Meeting for "Translation Platform" was held with the participation of Universities

Ministry for European Union Affairs, which conducts Türkiye’s EU harmonization work, including the translation of the EU acquis into Turkish, will held a platform to put forward the needs and difficulties of the translation sector and University Departments of Translation and Interpreting in particular, and to discuss the possible solutions. A preparatory meeting for universities was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Fatih Hasdemir, the Deputy Undersecretary on 27 April 2012. Representatives from universities expressed their needs and the problems they have encountered.
