Egemen Bağış Attends Sports Business Summit Conference

“Sports Business Summit” organized by International Herald Tribune and supported by Ministry for EU Affairs in the framework of EU Communication Strategy (EUCS) was realized at Cıragan Palace Kempinski Hotel on April 25-26, 2012.

Before the Summit, the participants of “Sports Business Summit” came together for the welcome dinner given under the auspices of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış at Karakol Restaurant – Topkapı Palace on April 24, 2012.

The IHT Sports Business Summit brought together major sports sponsors, investors, global sports figures and government ministers for two days of revealing conversations about the business of sport.

Egemen Bağış, who made the opening speech of the conference said “It is a great pleasure that Istanbul, the European Capital of Sports 2012 hosts the International Herald Tribune – Sports Business Summit. I think you have the chance to experience why Istanbul is such a strong candidate for the 2020 Olympics for the two days of the conferences.”
