Egemen Bağış Makes an Official Visit to Romania
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış and accompanying delegation went Romania’s capital Bucharest for two-day official visit.
On the first day his trip, Egemen Bağış visited Ataturk Monument and the Turkish Martyrs' Cemetery.
Minister Bağış met with Minister for EU Affairs of Romania Leonard Orban and attended the signature ceremony of the memorandum envisaging cooperation of two countries on EU matters.
Within the framework of his official contacts, Minister Bağış met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Romania Cristian Diaconescu.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış was hosted by Prime Minister Mihai Razvan Ungureanu. Turkish Ambassador to Romania Ömür Şölendil and Romanian Minister for EU Affairs Leonard Orban also participated in the meeting.
