Minister for EU affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış has taken part in the inauguration ceremony for the groundbreaking of Re-Construction of Köseköy-Gebze Section of Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train Railway Project. This 154 million Euro project, supported by the EU, will contribute to modernizing one of the most important parts of Türkiye’s most heavily used railroad, namely the Istanbul-Ankara line. Undersecretary Ambassador M. Haluk Ilıcak, Deputy Undersecretary Dr. Fatih Hasdemir and Director for Sectoral Policies Dr. Erol Saner were also present.
