Deputy Undersecretary Dr. F.H. Burak Erdenir participated in the 69th International Session of the European Youth Parliament

Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs Dr. F.H. Burak Erdenir participated in the 69^th International Session of the European Youth Parliament organized at Bahcesehir University on March 27, 2012. Former president of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Deputy for Antalya Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Chairperson of the Turkish delegation to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Deputy for İstanbul Nursuna Memecan and Director General for Europe at the Turkish Foreign Ministry Ambassador Kaya Türkmen were also present at the meeting. Dr. Burak Erdenir delivered an inaugural speech of the session themed “Bridging the Cultural Divides of Europe”, at the presence of youths from 36 countries. In his speech, Erdenir evaluated the role of youths in shaping EU’s future and Türkiye’s EU membership process. Erdenir also discussed about Türkiye’s EU negotiation process and negotiation chapters.
