Frames of Civil Society Dialogue From European Union And Türkiye Political Dialogue Meeting

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış, being in Brussels for the Eu- Türkiye Political Dialogue meeting; realized the inauguration of the EU- Türkiye Civil Society dialogue photograph exhibition.

Through Türkiye- EU: The Human Link Photograph Exhibition, realized with the IPA fund and hold under the Civil Society Dialogue Program; the projects about agriculture, fishery, culture and arts brought together with the mutual work of non-governmental organization from Türkiye and the EU, and the effects of these projects on the EU- Türkiye relations were brought up to the public.

 Several journalist and Alexandra Cas Granje from the EU Enlargement General Directorate attended the inauguration held in the European Commission Berlaymont building.

In the speech he gave, Mr. Bağış while mentioning the importance to have the inauguration at the heart of EU in Brussels, also expressed his pleasure about being able the state in here, the work Türkiye accomplished in order to reach its EU membership goal and the success of Civil Society Cooperation between Türkiye- EU.

While expressing that Türkiye completed the missing family picture of the EU, Minister Bağış put into words his belief that no forces can pull apart the ties between Türkiye and the EU as long as this connection from person to person is kept alive.

Mr, Bağış, giving examples of the partnerships held under the Civil Society Dialogue project and the powerful dialogue built up via these; added to his words that the prejudices being the strongest obstacle in Türkiye’s EU process were given away thanks to this powerful dialogue.
