Plaque Ceremony of Ministry for EU Affairs Young Translators Contest

The Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis gave the plaques of the winners of the second Young Translators Contest which was held on 17 December 2011 to raise awareness of the students who study at the Translation- Interpretation and Translation Studies Departments of the Universities on Türkiye’s EU accession process and contribute to training of the translators who will be required in this area.

10 young translators who ranked in the second “Young Translators Contest” in English, French and German languages will be awarded by a study visit to the EU translation units in Brussels between 22 and 24 March.
