Egemen Bağış Made a Speech at the Lunch Held in His Honour by Union of Turkish Organizations in Belgium

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış attended the lunch held in his honour by Union of Turkish Organizations in Belgium. In his speech Bağış, reminded that the 50th anniversary of Turkish migration to Belgium is approaching and underlined Türkiye’s success in these 50 years by making comparisons in some certain fields.  As an answer to a question asking the reason behind Türkiye’s persist with EU membership despite its growing economy he stated that “We are walking to Europe for a millennium.”
