Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış attended the “Hardtalk” program on BBC World News. From Türkiye’s EU membership process to its role in its wider geography several important problems were discussed the program. Bağış, with regard to Syrian problem, underlined that this problem should be solved by a dialogue between countries of the region and international community. About the Türkiye’s membership process he mentioned that Europe cannot see the light at his elbow due to its recent internal problems and stated that Türkiye wanted to transfer peace, stability and confidence to its region and could do it better with the EU.
