Bulgaria-Türkiye IPA Cross Border Cooperation Programme Technical Meeting

A technical meeting was organized in Haskovo district of Bulgaria with the participation of the representatives from the Managing Authority (Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of Bulgaria), the National Authority (Ministry for European Union Affairs of Türkiye), Ministry of Development of Türkiye, Undersecretariat of Treasury of Türkiye, the Central Finance and Contracts Unit and the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme.

During the meeting, some consultations have been made within the framework of the agenda items on improving implementation of the projects submitted under the Programme, challenges encountered in the current implementation phase, required amendments to be made in the Guidelines for Applicants for the second call for proposals, need for reviewing the financial implementation principles and conducting the Programme in a smooth way.
