Egemen Bağış Attended a Panel Titled “Arab Spring and Türkiye”

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış delivered a speech at the panel titled “Arab Spring and Türkiye” organized by Platform by Global Challenges. During the panel, the recent developments in the Middle East namely the Arab Spring and Türkiye’s role are discussed. Bağış mentioned that the most distinguishing future of Türkiye from the rest of countries in the region is its democracy which is consolidated during the EU process. At the end of his speech Bağış also underlined that after 2013, Türkiye’s EU process will enter a new phase.
