Gathered for the Assistance of JASPERS

The meeting on assessing the possibility of receiving technical assistance from JASPERS (Joint Assistance for Supporting Projects in European Regions) which has assisted some EU Member States since 2007 and started operating also in Candidate Countries in 2011 for the sake of supporting the projects under 3^rd Component of Instrument for Pre-accession (IPA), “Regional Development” was held on 1^st -2^nd  of February 2012 at Ministry for EU Affairs with the participation of the representatives of EU Commission, EU Delegation, JASPERS, Ministry for EU Affairs and other relevant Ministries.

JASPERS instrument mainly aims to shorten long approval periods of the projects through provision of technical assistance to the preparation of heavy cost investment projects and accelerate the absorption of the available funds under 3^rd Component through increasing the quality and quantity of the projects.
