IPA Multi-beneficiary Programme Assessment Meeting
The assessment meeting regarding the IPA Multi Beneficiary Programme which is centrally managed by the EU Commission to support the reforms of the candidate and potential candidate countries during the EU accession process was held on 18 January 2012 at the premises of Ministry for EU Affairs (MEU). The meeting was chaired by Mr. M. Süreyya Süner, Director of the Financial Cooperation Directorate of the MEU.
Representatives of the related Directorates of the MEU and all related institutions participated in the meeting. It was aimed to assess the contribution and benefits of the Programme for Türkiye so far. Firstly, the Programme was introduced and general information on the projects open to Türkiye was given. Furthermore, the areas for possible cooperation and the difficulties encountered during the implementation process were discussed. Lastly, expectations, suggestions and views on further and better implementation about the Programme which is foreseen to be carried out in the next financial period were shared. Besides all these need for strengthened cooperation and communication among the actors were agreed upon.
