Bulgaria - Türkiye CBC Programme Project Implementation Training

"A project preparation event" for the potential beneficiaries intending to submit projects under second call for proposals and "an implementation training" for the beneficiaries under the first call for proposals of Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross Border Cooperation Programme whose National Authority is Ministry of EU Affairs were held on 22 December 2011 in Edirne.

Together with the representatives of the Ministry namely EU Affairs Expert Þebnem SÖZER, EU Affairs Expert Tijen İÐCİ, Assistant EU Affairs Expert Semiha ÖZTÜRK and Assistant EU Affairs Expert Övünç GÜNEÞ, the representatives of Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross Border Cooperation Programme's JTS Antenna in Edirne and JTS Office in Haskovo, Governerships of Edirne and Kırklareli, local authorities in the said provinces, professional associations and NGO's attended to the activities.

During the activities that the Ministry organized together with Edirne EU Coordination Center the project beneficiaries under Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross Border Cooperation Programme which is the second component of Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) were informed about project implementation and were given possible suggestions regarding the problems encountered . Further to this, presentations were made on the matters.

On the otherhand, the potential beneficiaries those have the intention to submit projects under second call for proposals in the context of Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross Border Cooperation Programme were given explanation about the process of project preperation and related important matters. Presentations were made on the fundamental issues regarding the project process.
