Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme Info Day Was Held in Anadolu University

An Info Day was organized in order to inform the personnel and students of Anadolu University besides the public personnel in Eskiþehir, on 21st of December 2011 in Anadolu University.

The meeting commenced with the opening speeches of Vice Rector of Anadolu University, Prof. Dr. Ender Suvacı, Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs, Dr. Mehmet Cangir and Governor of Eskiþehir, Dr. Kadir Koçdemir.

Afterwards Director of Project Implementation Unit Bülent Özcan took the floor and gave useful information regarding the history, contingents reserved for different sectors, amount of the scholarship, application criteria and selection process of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme of which the deadline for application is 30th of January 2012. The Info Day continued with a presentation by Rüveyda Küçük about the College of Europe Master Scholarship Programme which is another scholarship programme carried out by the Minsitry for EU Affairs.

In the second half of the meeting, Director of Project Implementation Unit Bülent Özcan made a presentation entitled "Opportunities for Universities in the EU Process".
