The Third Meeting of the EU PASC of İzmir Governorate was Held on 8th December 2011

The third meeting of the Provincial EU Advisory and Steering Committee (EU PASC) of İzmir Governorate within the project of "EU Wind in İzmir" washeld on 8^th December 2011 in İzmir with the participation of the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen BAÐIÞ and the Governor of İzmir Mr.M. Cahit KIRAÇ. The opening speech was made by the Governor of İzmir Mr. Kıraç.

The Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen BAÐIÞ said: "We have transformed the EU accession to an issue which is being discussed in the 81 provinces of Türkiye.  Now there is a deputy governor and district governor who is responsible for the EU issues in each and every province."

At the meeting, the certificate ceremony of Training on Project Cycle Management was also conducted and certificates of  the participants were given by Minister BAÐIÞ. This training was an activity of the "EU Wind in İzmir " project  financed by the Ministry for EU Affairs within the framework of "Provinces Preparing for the European Union Programme".
