The Fourth Meeting of the EU Advisory and Steering Committee Held in Kocaeli with a Workshop

Kocaeli Governorship organized on 5-6 December 2011 a workshop for public officers within the context of their project "Fountain of Life" which is supported by the Provinces Preparing for the EU Programme financed by Ministry for EU Affairs.

The opening speech of the Workshop was made by Ministry for EU Affairs Deputy Undersecretary Mr. Dr. Mehmet CANGİR. Also, experts from the Ministry for EU Affairs participated in the workshop as moderators. Coordinator Ms. Leyla AKÞİN and Expert Mr. Mustafa AYDIN from Directorate of Sectoral Policies; Assistant Experts Ms. Merve Aydan EKİCİ and Arzu AKAR from Directorate of Social Regional and Innovative Policies and Expert Mr. Mutlu İNCE from Directorate of Single Market and Competition gave speeches on five different negotiation chapters and contributed to the reports that were prepared by the participant public officers on their own working areas.

Ministry for EU Affairs Deputy Undersecretary Mr. Dr. Mehmet CANGİR participated on the same day to the fourth Provincial EU Advisory and Steering Commitee Meeting of Kocaeli of 2011. Mr. Dr. Mehmet CANGİR gave a speech on the subject of "Activities of Ministry for EU Affairs in Provinces" at the meeting.
