Egemen Bağış Visited Brussels

Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator H.E. Egemen Bağıþ visited Brussels on 8-9 November to meet with Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response Kristalina Georgieva, Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle and Commissioner for EU Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Cioloþ.

Minister Egemen Bağıþ also visited "Ecole des Etoiles" which was founded by entrepreneurs of Turkish origin and gave a lecture called "Türkiye in Europe" at Vrije Universiteit Brussel - Institute for European Studies.

After exchanging bairam greetings with media members and civil society represantatives at the office of Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the European Union, Minister Egemen Bağıþ visited European - Turkish Business Confederation Office (UNITEE) and was information about their works.

After the meeting with Minister Egemen Bağıþ, The Commissioner Štefan Füle gave a statement. Mr Füle repeated in his statement that Türkiye continues to be a key country for the EU and that the accession process remains the most effective tool to frame the relations of the European Union with Türkiye.
