EU Advisory and Steering Committee Third Meeting Held in Bingöl

The third meeting of the Provincial EU Advisory and Steering Committee (EU PASC) of  Bingöl Governorate within the project of "Improving the Effectiveness of the Governorates in the EU Accession Process" was held on 10 October 2011 in the Bingöl Governorate.

The Governor of Bingöl Mustafa Hakan GÜVENÇER , Ministry for EU Affairs Education and Institution Building Director Pınar TANLAK, the Provincial EU Permanent Contact Point Deputy Governor Abdülaziz AYDIN, all district governors, Vice-Mayor, provincial representatives of the government institutions and agencies and the relevant non-governmental organizations participated to the meeting .

In his opening speech,  EU Project Co-ordination Centre Co-ordinator Mahmut BUYANKARA, indicated the importance of Governorate's project " Island City Swims Towards the EU".

At the meeting, Ministry for EU Affairs Education and Institution Building Director Pınar TANLAK made his presentation on "Türkiye's European Union Process/Relations and Improving the Effectiveness of the Governorates in the EU Accession Process ". She added that Ministry for EU Affairs has always expressed its support to the governorates within the scope of the project of "Improving the Effectiveness of the Governorates in the EU Accession Process"

Also at the meeting, Assistant Expert of Ministry Project Implementation Directorate Yunus YILMAZ made a presentation about Call for Proposals for Projects.

At the meeting Project Coordinator of Solhan District Governorate gave information about their ongoing Project.
