The Opening Ceremony of The Project Under Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-Border Cooperation Programme

The opening ceremony of the Project "Creating of Conditions of Relaxion, Sports and Tourism in Edirne and Elhovo" under the Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross Border Cooperation Programme was realized in the project site with the opening speech of the Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs Mr. Ahmet Yücel on 5th October, 2011
Mr. Gökhan Sözer, Governor of Edirne and Mr. Kiril Geratliev, Director General of Ministry of Regional Development of Public Works of Bulgarian Republic attended to the ceremony. It was emphasized that the relationship between two countries has thrived in every field and deep partnership and cooperation between local administrations and NGO's has been promoted by means of the cross border cooperation projects.
The project which is one of the signed 47 projects envisages to reconstruction of city park and building recreation sites in a duration of 24 months.
