"Regional Workshop on Energy and Transportation Solutions" Organized by the Governorship of Eskişehir

The implementation of "Eskiþehir Preparing for the EU" project of Governorship of Eskiþehir, which was granted under the "Provinces Preparing for the EU Programme" proceeded with a "Regional Workshop on Energy and Transportation Solutions" organized on 29th September with the attendance of representatives from public institutions and civil society organizations in Eskiþehir.

After the opening speech of the Ministry for EU Affairs Director of Project Implementation Bülent ÖZCAN, Directorate of Sectoral Policies Coordinator Leyla AKÞİN informed the audience on "EU Energy Policies and Türkiye's Adaptation". At the workshop, after analyzing existing strategic energy and transportation issues in Eskiþehir, competent scientists and representatives of industrial organizations evaluated the previous and ongoing studies in those areas.

Assessing the studies conducted in Eskiþehir in comparison with the EU countries; future targets  and the conditions required for investment in the province were determined. At the end of the workshop; in order to share the experience with the relevant institutions, a booklet is planned to be published. The workshop aims to contribute to the creation of new projects in transport and energy fields.
