Governorship of Mersin Visited the Ministry for EU Affairs

Within the scope of "Building a Knowledge Infrastructure in Mersin for EU Accession "project of Governorship of Mersin, which was granted under the "Provinces Preparing for the EU Programme", a training on "Project Cycle Management"  was given to a group of representatives from public institutions and civil society organizations in Mersin by ATAUM. The training was finalized by a study visit to Ministry for EU Affairs on 29th September.

The Ministry for EU Affairs Act. Deputy Undersecretary Dr. Mehmet CANGİR welcomed the committee from Mersin. Illustrating the fact that Mersin was the first city to visit the Ministry after the institutional change of the Secretariat General to Ministry for EU Affairs, in his speech, Mr. CANGİR indicated that unlike other projects, one of the purposes of the project of Mersin Governorship is to enable the Provincial EU Advisory and Steering Committee to function more effectively. Mr. CANGIR thanked the Governorship of Mersin Development Office and the members of the Provincial EU Advisory and Steering Committee for their arduous efforts. Following Mr. CANGİR's speech, Director of Accession Policy Seval IÞIK introduced the Ministry for EU Affairs and informed the committee on "EU Accession Process".
