Latvian Journalists visited the Ministry for EU Affairs

Nikolai Meinert, the Editor-in-Chief of the Telegraf, which is one of the leading newspapers in Latvia, Ljubov Meinert, the Director of Useph Media Group, and Halil İbrahim Ak, the Secreatry-General of Baltic Turkish Cultural Academia Association, have visited the Ministry for EU Affairs on 16 September, 2011. Ahmet Yücel, Act. Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs, received the group. The group has been informed about the current state of Türkiye-EU relations and Türkiye's negotiation process.  

In order to examine Türkiye's economical and cultural structure, the group will spend almost two weeks in Türkiye. Later on, they are planning to prepare an article series about Türkiye that will be published in Latvia for a month.
