The Fourth Regional Seminar of "Turkish Local Media on the EU Path Project" Was Organized
The fourth regional seminar of the seminar series that will be held in ten different regions of Türkiye within the framework of "Turkish Local Media on the EU Path" Project was held on September 8-9, 2011 in Elazığ.
In the two day lasting seminar, the members of local media from Elazığ, Batman, Bingöl, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Siirt and Tunceli were trained about Türkiye's EU accession process, effects of accession on our daily lives and grants and projects directed towards media. At the end of the seminar, lots was casted to determine the participant to attend the study visit to Brussels and London that will be organized at the end of the seminar series.
The project, run jointly by the Ministry for EU Affairs and British Embassy aims at equipping members of local pres with accurate and reliable information on EU and Türkiye-EU relations.
