Egemen Bağış Met with Kemal Burkay

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ met with the poet and politician Kemal Burkay in the Ministry for EU Affairs's İstanbul Office. In the joint press meeting held right after the bilateral meeting on 1 August 2011, Minister Bağıþ stated that Burkay was one of the most valuable intellectuals and politicians Türkiye raised and that it was an honour for Türkiye to welcome him back home. Moreover, Minister Bağıþ expressed his gratitude for Burkay's observations regarding the maturity of Türkiye's democracy to discuss and compromise any kind of problem.
