"Together Different Colours" Project Opening Meeting

"Together Different Colours" Project of Rize KACED Association, which has been funded under Civil Society Dialogue-II Project - Culture and Art Component and has a total budget of 161.766,92 Euros, was introduced to public with an opening meeting at Rize Dedeman Hotel on 28 July 2011.

Yaþar Yeğen, Chairman of KACED Association, informed the audience about the project. Following to him, Kayhan Özüm, Director of the Civil Society, Communication and Culture Directorate, mentioned about the importance given to civil society organizations by Ministry for EU Affairs during the EU accession process and the activities of the Ministry to promote the civil society in Türkiye. Mr. Özüm also gave information about the Civil Society Dialogue II: Culture and Arts Grant Scheme. The meeting has come to an end with a cocktail, after the speech of Mustafa Erkayıran, the Vice Governor of Rize.

The grant beneficiary of the project is Rize KACED Association and the project partner is FUSIC-Fundació Societat I Cultura, from Barcelona, Spain. With the "Together Different Colours" project, establishing tolerance and dialogue through maintaining the cultural and folkloric heritage which is to be forgotten in Türkiye and Spain is targeted.
